OK….I love cryptozoology and probably have everything written on the thylacine. So I started this book with a positive bias. Luckily, the writing style works for me, the characters aren’t unrealistic (the bad guys are a little cartoony) and the dialogue works (still burned after trying to read that pathetic dialogue of a best-selling author Robin Cook)….and the biology was fascinating. I’ll be watching for more from this author, especially if it has to do with zoo-keeping, marsupial biology etc!
