About Me

I was born in Staffordshire, England and worked as a zoo keeper for thirty years, specialising in the care of wild cats, birds of prey and reptiles. I now live in the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia with my wife, also a former zoo keeper, and who now works in the art world. I write multi-genre fiction in which ‘ordinary people deal with the extraordinary’.

I am also working on an account of my three decades of zoo keeping in both England and Australia, which is to be entitled ‘Whose Zoo?’.
